I was contacted a telemarketer from Premier Membership Club asking If I would like a credit card with a $5,000 credit limit. Since I could not get a credit card due to being in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, I accepted and like a fool gave them my banks routing number and the account number. On 1/31 a charge for the $99.49 was charged to my account but I received no credit card. When I called the number associated with the charge, I actually got a live person and was told that they did not issue credit cards and that they would play a recorded tape of the conversation if I would call back the next day. Being a fool again, I have tried to call back and can not get anyone. Beware of PMC. The stories are different but the result is the same. They are stealing money from prople and the banks are cooperating. My debit did not identify the account holder but only said "Name on File".
