Replied to an advert for a giveaway puppy, had a bit of correspondence with the 'owner' and then the story changed to them needing me to pay transport costs. Which is not an issue except that the transport company they were using needed a western union money transfer and inventory page was so fake it looked like a 5 year old child had designed it. I am lucky I narrowly missed being completely taken for a fool but now Im worried for any other people who might not see the warning signs... If you see an advert claiming to be giving away any pets and the corresponding email is [email protected] be wary and do not send money!
