Kimora Brown
Richard Hunt Puppy Scam

Recently my daughter came across an ad on Buysellpuppy.com for a Siberian Husky puppy listed by Kimora Brown. My daughter emailed her at [email protected] with several questions.

This person has multiple ads (over 50 that I found) with many breeds. Upon contacting this person, they said they did not want to sell the puppy, but that they would register the puppy with a name we wanted, and ship the puppy to us for $110.

The next morning a company calling themselves Classic Pet Transportation emailed stating that puppy was with them and we needed to send a money transfer via western union (Big red flag) to a Tabi Wilfred in Dallas, TX because if you say you want to send money for pet transport Western Union will charge you more. (Lie) The company says they are run by Richard Hunt. I found his name on this site as running a company called International Pet Transportation.

The gentleman that called representing himself being with the company was EXTREMELY difficult to understand. After this I started Google-ing some of the telephone numbers these people were using. The phone used by Kimora Brown comes back as a Orange County, California number. (714-344-1117) The ad says she is in Mozeman, Mt. I have also found some ads listing as New Mexico, Iowa, WV, and Florida. The number the Pet Transport email lists comes back as Cincinnati, OH.

The next morning we received another email from Classic Pet Transportation stating that during the evening it was required that their vet had to look at the puppy and reactivate the Micro Chip that had expired. The price for insurance on the pup was $700, and the vet bill was $700. They wanted the $1400 to be money transferred to a person in the UK.

Luckily we sent no money. The next morning we received an email from Kimora Brown, wondering why we were not paying the money to get her precious baby out from the Pet Transport.

Please be on alert when looking for animals online. From speaking with some Law officials, it seems one of the new "Nigerian Scams" is ads for puppies and other animals. Don't become a statistic... If it looks to good to be true... Chances are it is.
