Sure, he's planted palm trees and a thick juniper hedge in the city owned easement right to the edge of the road. But that's not unsafe, and the world doesn't need more sidewalk according to Harry.
For those of you not familiar with the area, imagine homes on the beach. Now imagine if one owner decided to build his home right to the edge of the water, so you couldn't walk on sand to get past his home. That's exactly what good ol' Harry Teasley has done. He's planted foliage right to the edge of the road on the street with the most foot traffic in the county. Harry even threatened to the sue the City of Tampa if it dared put a sidewalk on the city owned property.
