In 2007 Harry (the owner of So Cal Auto—in Burbank, 1800 W. Burbank Blvd.) contacted us, regarding a vehicle restoration (an 85 Chevy El Camino) estimate. He (Harry), claimed that the owner of this vehicle had given him full authorization to restore the vehicle (LIAR). After receiving an estimate from our company, he (Harry) asked us not to contact nor involve the customer, since he was taking care of everything. After an agreed quote, and a few weeks later, Harry had the vehicle towed to our facilty for repairs in and around the engine area, since he had pulled out the engine and transmission it made things easier for us. While we were performing repairs on this vehicle, little did we know that (Harry) had shopped and was shopping for lower quotes&intresting, but we found this out way later of course, and by then he had another shop finish off the reapairs for much less then our perposal. We are sure (Harry) used our high bidd to pocket a great deal of the El Caminoe owners money. On one occasionhe (Harry) brought the customer in to our shop to assure him that the vehicle was being worked on and to gain his trust before milking him out of hundreds if not thousands of dollars. What we lost out of this deal was the work had performed, he (Harry) had the vehicle towed back to install the mechanical components and drive the vehicle back for the finishing work. It's been two years were still waiting for payment for what we did, and his excuse goes on for miles. Try digesting this one Mr (Harry) oh and by the way we mett the owner and his son who's a vietnam vet, who believed we had performed the repairs all along. Sad to see a wonderfull man who got played by this CROOK. YOU WEEP WHAT YOU SOW HARRY.
