I was called on May 31 by Premium Advantage and asked if I wanted a credit card at 7.9%. They said there would be a $299.95 service charge to secure the card with the bank. The representative said I would receive the package in the mail in 5-10 working days. Don't wait call your bank and stop the payments NOW!
They also said as a package I was required to agree to a long distance phone company charge of $39.95 which could be cancelled by June 14 and I would not be charged.
They gave me a phone # of the Pro Tel company and said I could get my account and access information from them.
On June 28 I called Premium Advantage After having been billed $299.95 from them $39.95 $19.95 from Pro Tel and $19.95 from Tracguard, a road service company, which I have no use of as I have AAA. I told them I wanted a refund for the Tracguard and that they had read the disclosure statement too fast for me to have heard about the extra charges. They wanted to give me long explanations and dominate the phone conversation. As I insisted on my refund and asked for a manager or supervisor, I was hung up on 3 times.
I called back again and got their information for a refund. I was still treated rudely and decided to cancel after I read the information at this site.
I must tell everyone not to wait for Premium Advantage to refund your money! Call your bank imediately and they can help you get your money fast.
