Zynga is a social gaming company who offered a game called Mafia Wars through Yahoo. On January 10 I received a notification that they made a business decision to end their association with Yahoo and would be available on Facebook. They offered a pin code to convert present status from Yahoo to Facebook. The plan was it was to take up to 15 days for the code to work. After hundreds of dollars invested and hundreds of hours of playing, the code did not work. I have made numerous attempts to get this resolved through customer support, but it is the same thing over and over again. I started Mafia Wars on Facebook but started at level one, having lost all my current status of level 258. I could get back at this level, if I go out and spend several hundreds of dollars more in game cards and hundreds of hours more playing the game. I am on disability income and spend 90 percent of my time at home, so social contact is important for me. I truly believe this was a move to get more game cards sold by Zynga. I cannot believe that a company who just went Public would resort to this kind of business practices.
If I get nowhere here, I will try investigative reports with a Channel 8 news in Tampa, FL.
