Reviewed my January 2012 US Cellular bill and discovered a charge for $9.99 on 1/2/2012 for a "Subscription" with SIG's name and contact number. I do not currently subscribe, nor do I wish to subscribe, to any text messaging service on any of the 3 mobile phone lines on my account.
US Cellular was willing to cancel the subscription effective today but said they could not back-date the cancelation to credit my account. They said I had to contact SIG at the number listed on my bill, which for me has been virtually impossible as the number perpetually rings fast-busy.
Not only did I NOT subscribe to the service, but after being charged, no related texts were ever received!
