I was looking for a loan. Someone (Melanie Lipton) called and said she was from Aldridge Financial Advisors and had found me a loan in the amount of 5000.00. But because of my credit it was a secured loan and I needed to send 635.00 to secure it and the 5000.00 would be directly deposited into my checking account by midnight on the next day and that I would get the 635.00 at the end of 6 months if I made all my payments on time. I sent the money then got a call the next morning and they said because I had been lookng around and several people had checked my credit that the the loan company needed another 500.00 for security to show my good intentions. I told them tp forget it and to refund me my money. She stated it would be 5-10 business days before I could get it back. AT the end of the 10 busiess days the money was not returned and I could get noone to answer as the number I had for her. They have a professional answer machine at the number they gave me and I spoke to two different ladies on different extension. She also faxed me contracts very legal looking with the details of the loan on them. I did check before I sent the mony and there was no scam reported against this company. But now there emails address that we were corresponding through are no longer valid and all you get at the phone number is a answer machine.
