Bought can Spam which I have been doing for 30 years or better, purchased at local Wal-Mart daughter in law was making for dinner opened can nasty smelling, black slimy, white furry mold when opened. It was a Friday night called Hormel Monday morning was very disappointed in customer service basically told me ohhh well this happens a lot somehow during process and shipping air must of got in. Really I asked does this happen often “Yes there’s nothing we can do” was her reply. I then explained we send care & share packages to our troops and purchase and send a lot of Spam cans & single serving packages there. So I you saying in doing so we could possibly be sending bad food to our troops, how do we prevent this if it’s the case? Her reply was "Don't buy it 'cause we cannot promise it will not happen."
Imagine my shock and disbelieve. She never offered to reimburse my purchase, which $2.48 is not much but still the matter of not only did I get nasty Spam, a rude service rep, who did not even ask my name or where I purchased to see if any other bad batch. She just basically said that and then added "Will that be it... Thank you good bye. Really am I that wrong I still have can sealed in air proof Ziploc any lawyer want to take on this case. I have photos of it right after opened. I am boycotting Hormel and asking everyone else I know to as well. You don't care if you put people & or our troops at risk because of your bad products yet you'll keep selling your items for the public to possibly get ill from?
