I decided to attend Everest College in 2008 for their medical assistant program after seeing a commercial which guaranteed me job placement after successful completion of the program. I initiated a phone call and set up a meeting to get more information. The admissions counselor again stated that every graduate is guaranteed job placement after their graduation from the school. I graduated in 2009 with honors and received an accredited diploma from the school. I frequently contact the school for assistance in finding employment because I have creditors on my back for re-payment of my loans borrowed to attend the school. All I ever get from the career service staff is a lot of run around, every interview I have every had has been one that I landed on my own, however, I am always turned away due to lack of experience. I feel if the school is not going to help me find a job I should be held accountable for re-payment because I signed for the loans because I was guaranteed a great paying job after graduation and again I do not have that great paying job and the campus staff is not putting forth any effort to assist me in finding one.
