I have not made any purchases online in the last half year... Only my normal payments for bills, utilities, etc. I logged onto my banking account today and noticed a charge with AWI for $24.95 that was pending. I wasn't sure what the charge was for so I started scanning through my bank stmts to see if it was a recurring payment that maybe? For some reason I wasn't aware of... Saw that I have had 3 withdraws for $24.95 beginning in November, in December and just today in January. I tried searching "unknown bank charge AWI 8888518845" in the search engine. Nothing popped up so I decided to see if the 888 digits were a telephone number and low and behold, AWI pops up with recent activity just as of TODAY with unauthorized charges for peoples accounts!!! I haven't purchased anything this company could sneak a membership onto... No letters in the mail... So how did they just stumble upon my bank card info? The only thing I can think of is a key-logger on my comp. Which scares the daylights out of me or someone used one of the card reading devices on me. Very disturbing. So it will be off to the bank in the morning for the next steps and seeing if I can get ahold of someone at this company to give them a piece of my mind: (SIGH #scammers suck
