I responded to an ad online for a part-time job as a driver. I am a retired Boston Police Officer. Shawn Patrick responded. He said he and his family were moving to Boston from England. He needed someone to to do "run around errands" before his arrival. He said he would pay me $150.00 if I deposited a check for $3,940.00 into my personal account. I was then supposed to send a check for $3,790.00 from my account to a designated name and address which he provided. I responded to him that I did not understand what I was supposed to do. I asked him why he couldn't do this task himself and save $150.00. He responded and asked why I was giving him such a hard time. Then I said I would not deposit the check, which I still have. He then said I should expect a visit from an F.B. I agent soon. I then responded, "Bring it on!!!" This guy is a real professional scam artist. Beware.
