We decided to send for rejuvenating cream samples, having seen an advert on the internet. The cost of packaging was all we thought we were paying for.instead we find that these fraudsters are taking money out of our account at regular intervals. So far, they have taken five payments amounting to £360.
The problem is how to stop it happening and how to get the money back. I feel powerless after making phone calls that get put on hold and failing to convince my credit card company that this fraudulent company should be blacklisted immediately. Am I totally naive in thinking that credit card companies have a moral responsibility to follow up on the warnings given by their cardholders? How many complaints have to be made against a company before they are prevented from taking money in this way? Should I return the goods in the hope that they will return my money!!?
