I ordered two pair of Steve Madden shoes for my daughter's wedding. As of 1/2, I had not received anything so went to the website to find out the problem. The site was gone so I googled it and found a ton of complaints about the seller. I filed a complaint with PayPal asking for a refund. They contacted the seller and because she showed something was shipped, PayPal refused to refund my money.
On 1/5, I received a little Winnie the Pooh wicker bag from the seller. Obviously a bait and switch.
In PayPal's response to me, they state they do not tolerate fraud or illegal activities. Apparently, they do because this is not the first complaint they've received. They refuse to refund anybody's money and continue to allow that seller to use them as a vehicle to defraud other unsuspecting consumers.
