The Criminal Division of the City Attorney's Office Consumer and Environmental Protection Unit (CEPU) continues to successfully prosecute unlicensed individuals doing business in San Diego city who cause harm to others.
In cases included the unlicensed practice of law, dentistry, home improvement contracting, and auto sales. CEPU successfully prosecuted Rodney Halstead (62 year old white male) on charges of grand theft, forgery, and the unlicensed Practice of law. Halstead was sentenced to 9 months in jail and ordered to pay restitution to his victims, among other terms
of probation.
This rather tall, lean, gimp (walks with a limp and uses elevated black shoes) habitually dresses in gothic black garb looking like a cross between Dracula and the Frankenstein monster. He also uses multiple aliases. Do not do business with this man, that is, unless youre an absolute masochist!
