Very Poor Customer Service

I completed a contract with Comcast and decided to change services because Comcast had gotten extremely high after my contract ended. I switched to Sprint for savings on my home phone but unfortunately I found that their service did not support all of my needs and after speaking with them about it, determined that I should return my equipment to them before the contract was initiated (14 days from receipt of equipment) and reverse the porting of my home phone to Sprint.in the mean time I went ahead and contacted Comcast about the issue on 1/14 and spent a good bit of the morning on the phone with a service advisor to reverse the port request with Sprint and restore it to Comcast. I thought everything was good and was told that the reversal would be completed in 3 days. That did not happen at all and despite all of the 'helpfulness' from the rep to resolve this before my contract was activated with Sprint, this has now been going on for 17 days now and I am locked under a contract with Sprint and will have to pay them an early termination fee of $200 to leave them now. The reason is because Comcast told me that they could restore my number before 1/17 and it never happened. I have been on the phone almost every day for hours trying to get this resolved and finally got tired of waiting for Comcast to restore my number to their service and decided to cancel the request to stay with Comcast on 1/23. Well since that day I am still awaiting Comcast to release that work request so that AT&T can activate my home phone number; nevertheless, I can only tell you that each time that I have called Comcast about the release of this work order, they have told me that either it has been done or they transferred me to another department who could not help with the issue. I have even gone as far to ask to speak with a supervisor / manager to express my dis-satisfaction with their customer service and I never got connected with the manager or supervisor but got hung up on without any call back. As of 1/31, I am really filtering my feelings right now about the massive headaches that Comcast has taken me through with their poor customer service and hope that this is the final attempt to get my home phone service request cancelled with Comcast so that AT&T can activate my home phone service. I truly hope that others who have read these complaints can understand why so many people are frustrated with Comcast / Xfinity's customer service.
