I got an email about an internet auction that I thought it was for overstocked.com (good experience). The registration page indicated I had a coupon code and would get 20 or 25 free bids — but the link didn't work. When I continued with registration, after putting in my credit card number, the only choice was $159 for "bids, " so I exited out. Tried to "connect direct" to report the problem to zBiddy, but their website link didn't work. I called my credit card company ask asked that they deny the charge and to put a notation that I don't want ZBiddy to charge to our account. Unfortunately, a charge cannot be disputed until it is charged and I called before the charge cleared. Later in the month I got the bill with the charge. My credit card company was so familiar with the scam that they had the phone number at their fingertips. It is 1-877-403-6978. I spoke with Crinna who said she would reverse the charge, but in may not show as a credit for 20 days. My credit card company agreed to treat the charge as disputed, otherwise I would be charged interest for the unpaid balance. Don't pay, don't pay, don't pay. Avoid zBiddy!!
