Clayton Careers and Partners
Consumer Report

I also responded to an ad on Craigslist for a job and received an email saying:

We would like to thank you for sending your resume to Clayton Careers & Partners. After reviewing your initial credentials, I think you could possibly be a great fit for our company.

Our Human Resource manager would like to schedule an interview with you before she leaves for vacation early next week. You need to complete the pre-interview screening before we can schedule an interview, which can be found at http://workatclayton.info or the career link on our homepage. Your applicant code is 361373.

Please write down your code, as that is the only way you can gain access to your application and employee profile. Once you complete your screening someone from HR will contact you within 72 hours to schedule an interview.

Respectfully
Richard Evans

My first and last name was just as I entered it on the site, with no space between them. I entered the code and was sent to the "application" questions. I left it entirely blank and exited the site as I know not to give credit info out. The important thing to know is that I did NOT send any resume, nor did I list any qualifications. I did this purposely because the ad seemed fake. The response I got proves they are scammers.
When checking out their website, they say they are registered with the International Financial Services Commission. If you go to that site at http://www.ifsc. Gov. Bz/licensed_provider.html#top
you will not find their name listed nor their supposed parent companies Atlantic Bank Ltd. And the SONISA Group of Companies.

As for resolution to this problem from this and other companies like them, I would like them to be reported to Craigslist so they can be banned from posting these fake jobs. They are all over the site under many different names. They are easy to spot. Please remember NEVER give your information over the web and if it asks for a resume without an interview, or even a phone call, it is most likely a scam.
You must have an account to post on CL so if we all report each name to them they may gradually get shut down or at least have to continually change their emails. I would hope CL would ban any ads from these company names. That is another reason the ads are so vague.
Personally, I will report them to CL. I hope you do also!
