My friend ordered free skincare samples via an advertisement on Facebook. She had to give them her debit card details for the £10 postage. The samples arrived but 1 month later 4 separate payment in 4 separate variations of the company name has taken debits totaling £250. After speaking to the bank because she paid by debit card she is not covered by payment protection and they have to honour any further transaction within the next 31 days. The company is just a PO Box and has no e-mail address and didn't send a confirmation e-mail when placing the order for the original samples. My Friend has to just wait now and hope they don't continue to steal money from her account! Any help or info anyone has would be grateful.
