I applied for the front desk position with Clayton Careers & Partners and they stated the same thing that they wanted to interview me before she left on vacation and to go to a certain website and apply again through them leading me to the credit check. No one needs my credit check till after the interview if necessary and I already printed out a copy of my own earlier in the year. Not only that but if you do do a credit check which is free, they want a credit card to charge you $1.00 for the report. Now they have your credit card. If you read the fine print (and I did) you will be charged almost $20.00 a month on your credit card for this continuous service until you call them to cancel with them. That is how they get your money. So beware. They do not mention that when you are requiring your FREE credit report unless you read the fine print under their license agreement contract, so please read it first. These people are making money off of honest people who are looking for a job and wasting our time and energy. Oh and another thing. If you receive a quick response back from a resume emailed in and late at night, take it as a scam and run away. Who would be emailing that late at night about a job interview. BE AWARE PEOPLE and good luck with your job search. Bb
