I had visited the store on three seperate occasions, in which one occasion I had brought my husband with me. I was looking to buy a leather sofa, and had chosen one from Easy Life Furniture. The sales person assured me that all of the cusions were leather, but the back was made from a man-made material. I was ok with that because the cusions were the ones that were going to be sat on anyway.
Low and behold a couple of years later the couch started to fall apart. At first I thought it was because of the kids, but the tears seemed very abnormal, and since I don't allow my children to play with sharp objects, it couldn't of been by their doing. As time went on the couch continued to get worse! Now, I can't even have anyone over the house becuase the sofa looks horrible and the tears are everywhere! I finally found my original paperwork, so I re-visited the store and brought it to the attention of the manager. He could care less and told me that there was nothing he would do about it. I told him this sale as grossly misrepresented, but he still wouldn't budge and sent me on my way. After reading article after article on how the public is being duped by these stores, I need to take a stand and do something about it to get my money back.
I'm tired of getting ripped off by these crooks!
