Megaflix wrongly billed my account $49.95 after claiming that the free trial they offered expired in 5 days and automatically bills your account $49.95 if you do not cancel it within the 5 days. This was completely false, because on the sign up page where they ask for your billing information it says at the top, "Your Credit will NOT be charged for validating your account" and on the side it even says, "We GUARANTEE that NO CHARGES will be applied for the authentication of your account". NO WHERE on this page does it mention a 5 day trial, a reccurring payment of $49.95 charged to your account after the 5 day trial is up, or a 6 month membership after the trial. I have a print screen image of this page as proof with their billing policy circled in red that I highlighted myself in paint. Also, when you sign up, none of the movies or links work so they are basically scamming you out of money for a false advertising, obsolete, bogus movie site. It also claims to provide you with the latest movie releases but all of the movies on the site are never before heard of titles, and provide you with no movies seen in theaters or any recognizable movies. I called them to ask for a refund especially when I did not use the site but they just told me that they are unable to provide me a refund since the so called "5 day trial" passed and so called "reccurring payment" took place. I continuously stress to him that they never stated a 5 day trial or reccurring payment at the sign up and guaranteed that NO CHARGES would be applied for the authentication of myaccount. He asked me if i wanted to cancel my account and I complied with a yes so there should not be any further charges to my account but I still want my $49.95 refunded to my ccount as well. This is unacceptable especially when I have visual proof of my claim. I hop legal action will be taken and justice will be served. These scammers need to be put out of business.
