I recieved a flyer in the mail from Hanna Robertson, Brokerage Co. Around 8/17. I applied on line. Around 11/2, I recieved a check in the mail for $975.24, w / a letter stating: That if I copy #400 of a flyer that I can get @ Hanna Robrtson's site, download #400 names from "1dayoldnames", fold and stamp them, and have them in the mail by 11/9, that i can deposit the check of $975.24 on 11/16... After deposit, to send Hanna Robertson $500.00 via 'Greendot' money pac's. And then they would send me the remainder of the $10,000.00 grant ($9,024.76).
I did all of the above, waited till the 16th of Nov. but the bank refused to accept it! Stating it was "NO GOOD"!!!
So here I am feeling like a gluten fool for falling for this, and I'm out $292.76, plus time and travel...
I was lucky to find your site, so that you may be able to help me recover my $, and to warn other's of this scam.
