After trying in vain to get my free credit report (all 3 of the big reporting agencies mysteriously couldn't verify my information) I decided to buy my credit report. I didn't click on anything to subscribe to a monthly credit report, or any of that 'protect your credit' junk, but Experian signed me up anyway. I didn't notice this until recently and it has been 6 months since they began charging me. Do NOT buy a credit report from these guys. I have not tried to call them yet to resolve the issue but if I don't get 100% of their fraud reimbursed I plan on taking them to Small Claims Court.
