Quibids is a scam! It is a company that tempts you with ads about people winning expensive stuff for just a few cents. You end up registering with the website and they do not tell you that there is a $60 fee. They ask you for your credit card to charge 1 cent per bid. You assume that you can choose the number of bids you want to buy but instead it just charges a huge amount on your credit card.
When I tried to bid for an IPad, I was dissuaded by the website and asked to bid on smaller items only so that the company can make money off me.
I bid for a store $25 store gift card which I won but after that all my bids for other items were out bidded.
So I practically spent $60 to get a $25 gift card. The site has auto bid set up or an employee who keeps outbidding your price so you keep increasing your bid and buying more bids. The countdown shows 5 seconds left and you bid thinking that you'll win the last bid, but just at that moment the clock moves back up to 20 seconds. This goes on for hours.
Such a huge scam!
This company needs to be taken to court for ripping off people! It is a shame that in such a law abiding country there are people who get away with such malpractice!
