I applied for a job on Craigslist for a Customer Service Rep.
A few days later I received an email asking me for my information etc. A few more days later I received a check from TransAmerica Life Insurance CO. Written on Manufacturers & Traders Trust Bank.
I called the bank and there was $ in the account but the account was frozen. Then I called TransAmerica Life and explained the situation. They and the bank has had many calls on regarding the same. The checks were no good of course. I was instructed to keep $400 and go to Western Union (as usual) and send the balance of the money to Colorado. I gave this idiot no good for nothing time to give his act up but he kept on going. They idiots are low low life!!! Please don't fall for it!!! - Joanne Graner - Sarasota, FL
