They claim to have buyers for my timeshare, offered $23,700.00 for a studio. It is well known there is no market current value for timeshares in Mexico on the resale market. They claim there is no upfront cost. They will be paid 8% of the sale price as a commission. After proving ownership, the offer goes to contract where they give you the bad news. The "buyer" chooses the escrow company (there are many phony escrow companies.) When I suggested I would select the escrow company at my expense they said the buyer would not accept this condition. Further, they said I would be paid in 90 days, but that the commission paid by me was due in 5 days. Well, that is an upfront charge and therefore they lied when we started. When I suggested I would pay after I was paid, they said I was putting up too many road blocks and we could not proceed. Scam!!!
