Eagleview Loan Cente
Consumer Report

I was contacted via telephone by a Michael Bradshaw with Eagleview Loan Center. Mr. Bradshaw said that I had been approved and offered to loan me $5,000 for three years @ $177 per month. Upon accepting his offer (shame on me), Mr. Bradshaw informed me that I would need to make five monthly payments in advance, totaling $887. Reluctantly and foolishly, I agreed to this after Mr. Bradshaw said that this would take care of my monthly payments until April 18. He faxed me a contract, which I signed and faxed back to him, along with a voided check for my bank's routing no., etc. Next, he instructed me to go to Wal-Mart and purchase a "Green-Dot" money card, put $887 on it, and call him back. When I called him, he took the numbers of the money card over the phone. He then told me to expect $5,000 to be electronically placed in my bank account overnight. This was Wednesday, October 19.

In checking my bank account the following morning, I was alarmed that no such deposit had occurred. Before I could call Mr. Bradshaw to inquire what was going on, he called me to say that a problem had occurred with my loan. He said that in light of my poor credit, the "lender" had elected to "exercise the insurance option". Bradshaw explained that he would need to collect another $1,000 from me to cover the insurance, and that in order to compensate me, he would increase the loan proceeds to $7,000, extend the same payment of $177/month, and extend the term to 42 months. I felt that this may be a scam, but after investing $887 into this and now being financially strapped, I agreed to send him $1,000 (which literally exhausted my cash) if he would fax me in writing a guarantee. He faxed me a letter, signed by a Brent Samuels, supposedly the president of Eagleview, which guaranteed that my bank account would be credited for $7,000 upon receipt of my insurance payment. Again, he instructed me to go to Wal-Mart and purchase a "Green-Dot" money card, this time for $1,000, and call him back. When I called him, he took the numbers of the money card over the phone. He then told me to expect $7,000 to be electronically placed in my bank account within "3 to 5 hours". This was Thursday, October 20. I had at least two more conversations with him that day, and each time, he told me to be patient - that he was in the process of getting my money to me.

In checking my bank account this morning (Friday, October 21), I again found that no such deposit had occurred. I called Mr. Bradshaw, who feigned surprise when I told him that no deposit had been made to my bank account. He said that he would get "right on it". Mr. Bradshaw called me. Again, he said that in light of my poor credit, the "lender" had elected to "exercise the insurance option", but that with all of my credit issues, I would have to buy the "full" insurance coverage for an additional $1,000. Bradshaw said that in order to compensate me, he would increase the loan proceeds to $9,000, extend the same payment of $177/month, and extend the term to 48 months.

Thank you in advance for anything you can do to stop this man from hurting many others — he has sure injured me and my family financially.
