The following is the back and forth email exchange I had with Badoo support. Not once did the representative try to understand my issue or let me know that it had been forwarded to the appropriate channel. This is the poorest customer service experience I have had with an online business, and owning a web-based business myself, I'll make sure this never happens in my own company.

Whenever I click on People nearby (Cincinnati within 30 miles), I see only profiles from people from New York, IA. When trying to change my location to New York, IA, I find that this city doesn't even exist in your database, and certainly if it did I can't imagine that this number of profiles could come from any city in Iowa. My conclusion is that this is either a bug, or scammers have found an easy way to create new profiles on badoo. At any rate, when I search for users within 30 miles of Cincinnati, Ohio, I would only expect to see users from Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

This response did not address my issue. Please escalate this issue to a supervisor. The bug report would do the most good if it was sent to the Badoo development team.

I still don't believe support genuinely understands my issue, because the answers given have not addressed my concerns at all. When I try to refine my search by distance, it does not work. When I select a distance range for my city such as 30 miles from Cincinnati, I see member's profiles from a completely different part of the USA - from a city in Iowa that doesn't exist. Also, the closest city in Iowa is at least 400 miles away. Please forward this issue to a supervisor or web developer.
