I requested 2 free trial samples form ACM Bellaplex at approximately $1.99 each. Both amounts debited from my credit card. I never received the samples and then, out of the blue, 2 amounts were withdrawn, by ACM Bellaplex from my credit card account, for a total of approx. $61.00. I immediately contacted my bank to advise that I had not authorised these. I have been told by my bank that "as I have previously given the retailer authority to charge my account, the bank cannot withhold payments. I have challenged this and am awaiting further investigations. I am extremely concerned that, as a victim of a scam, I still appear to have no right to prevent monies being taken out of my account, even if I have notified my bank of the scam.
