I responded to an ad on craigslist for a leather couch and the response from "Betty" was:
"Im sorry for not replying to you before (this was the first red flag, as this was the first and only time I had responded to the ad) since, I had promised this to the first person who emailed me but she hasn't replied. Are you still interested?
Im going to a family event tomorrow but then I will be around for the next few days. Let me know what works for you.
When I replied that, yes, I was interested, I received this:
"Hey, I am very VERY sorry. The other person just emailed me back again, turned out her other message went to the junk box and I missed it. I feel really bad...
You know, if it's any consolation, Ive been making really good money from this home income program and they just opened up 3 more positions in our area.
