Went to Oil Can Henrys for a fuel filter change, they changed the oil which was @ 46% not ready for change also changed other oils as well as changed wipers for the wind shield stated they needed changing too. Car would not start after fuel filter changed and other services told me they to hit the little black box by the fuel three times and requested me turn the the key 3 times but don't start car because this sometimes is needed to get car started once you change the filter after leaving shop had problems with vehicle kept stalling out. One of the employees there told me I need a piston flange and he could not do the work at shop but, could do @ his place of residence gave me his phone # for me to contact him for the work to be done @ his place of residence I contact Oil Can Henry after being stuck on the freeway was advised to bring car back in so they could see what the problem was bought it back stated maybe some dirt got into the filter Tech blew the with his mouth and car had problems starting again but, they got it started enough for me to leave the shop. Stuck on the freeway again. Shop was close left vm for the manager to contact advise I was going to contact the news informed me if problem came from the shop they would pay for the problem but he needed to review fillm to see and would call me back. He did call me back informed me to take my car to a Vacaville dealership because they have a relationship with them and if problem was from them per that dealership car would be fix @ no charge instead. Son took car to dealership who stated the car had problem with idle which they would fix but I pay another $972.00 car continued to stall went back to that dealership 2 more times car continue to have problems stuck on freeway again and again. Finally contact Service Manager @ dealership who informed me to take car to nearest dealership who could work on my vehicle found out the problem in which had my vehicle stalling was not what they indicated either. Finally got car fixed and requesting monies back from both companies and would also like them to pay for rental cars as well as the inconviences they both cost me. I have encounter a total of $10,000 money spend dealing with dishonest automotive shops I praying for some assistances with someone to look at my case and truly assist I have contacted the Bureau of Automotive Repairs with my situations. Oil Can Henry was advised to give me back my money and they have not as of yet. And the other dealership is under investagation. I find it very hostile for people to be so dishonest and untrusting when it comes to money. They will kill just for a dollar. Bureau of Automotive have been a God send I must say trying to help me with this problem. I feel these companies need to be reported and penalized for what they do to consumers like myself who trust them to provide a service and they do not comply but, scam. I have found a dealership who acessed the problem with vehicle and fixed for another $1439.00 car does appear to be running well so far but another company but in wrong cats which seems to be part of the problem as well I promise I have paperwork done on my vehicle and you would be surprize @ all the crooks out there looking to make a dishonet dollar from people who do not the mechanics of how their work. This has been an expense lesson and I plan to fight back so it does not happen to anymore people who just want the job done and honest.
