My daughter was married at the Library Galleria inSacramento on September 16, and had chosen Dallas McConahay, of Flowersby Dallas, as her florist, based on a recommendation. She put in a purchaseorder and gave Dallas a check for the majority of the $825 bill. The wedding bouquet for my daughter was to be Deep purplehydrangeas, and the 6 bridesmaids were to have bouquets of white roses. TheGroomsmen were to have boutonniers of purple hydrangeas. There were supposed to be 4 wristletcoursages for the mother of the bride and groom, as well as the grandmothers. There were supposed to be table arrangementsfor 8 tables, made up of large deep purple hydrangeas in 4 inch glass squarevases with clear rocks and a ribbon on each vase. The flowers were supposed to be delivered to the setting at2:30 PM. Unfortunately, the nonreturned phone calls started shortly thereafter. At 3:30 PM, Dallas arrived withthe flowers and a bad attitude. The bridesmaids did not get their bouquets ofwhite roses, but bouquets of half dead purple and white hydrangeas. One of thebouquets had a ribbon on it that was covered with blood. Also, he never brought my daughtersbouquet. One of the bridesmaids called alocal florist to quickly make up a wedding bouquet, sent the limousine driveracross town to pick up the bouquet, and one of the groomsmen put the new $90bill on his credit card. The floralarrangements for the tables at the reception also were not what was paidfor. The 4 inch glass vases wereactually all different sizes and colors. There were no clear stones and noribbons, and again the flowers were half dead. My friend / coordinator told him that he needed to wait until I got thereto meet with him, and he sneaked away without saying anything. We have left numerous calls and emails for him, and he hasnot returned any messages. I am going to file a complaint also with theDivision of Consumer Affairs, as well as the Better Business Bureau.
