I responded to an ad on Craigslist for a Front Desk Receptionist. Shortly thereafter I received an email saying they were very interested in me and I should complete an application which they provided. I spent a considerable amount of time on the application, as anyone would do, in hopes of being hired. At the end of the application it is stated I was one of the top 5 applicants being considered for an interview. When I finalized the form and submitted it... Another form (APPLICANT SCREENING AREA) appears asking to 'Complete your ID Verification' which is a Credit Check. I stopped right there... I realized SCAM and was very upset after spending so much time on the completing the application. First of all... My Credit History is none of their business. I know nothing at all about this company and here they are expecting me to give them all of my Personal Information. Second of all, I'm not interested in signing up for a monthly credit report, which follows after the first "free" report. Third of all... Scam... Scam This entire scam was not to find me a job, it was to sell me my Credit Report that they would also have access to. Bad News! Companies like this should be fined for preying on people, especially at a time like this when the economy is low and such a job shortage. They are being dishonest by getting people's hopes up, etc. My advice... Stay away from Rowe-Recruitment & Partners.
