Purchased a vacation resort on Ebay. Buyer Protection susposedly protected me from Scam. Immediately after purchase with Paypal, my card number was used for fraud. I contacted Ebay and Paypal. They denied any responsibility. On 8/6, I arrived at destination. The area I leased was 1 room, no lighting, unsafe, no usuable bedding (blow up bed would not hold air), filthy, dog/body urine odor, totally unusuable. Secured other accommodations, Notified Ebay and seller of issues. Issued formal complaint. After 50 days, Ebay finally decided they were not going to refund purchase or cleaning deposit although I could not stay there. Found other buyers who had same complaints on her feedback since my case. Ebay and Paypal have seen the documentation from other buyers and I have pictures and witnesses. They are allowing and protecting this seller in her fraud. The Buyer Protection they offer does not exist. They are negligent and assist her in stealing from their buyers. Ebay purposely waited too long to decide the case to protect the seller. They also told me to wait to leave feedback. I checked and if I did what they told me, too much time would have gone by to leave warning for other buyers. I am a disabled woman who was defrauded by the seller, and Ebay and Paypal have assisted her is advertising a protection for the buyer which they will not honor.
