I signed up for Home website builder through a link and as it was heavily discounted at $19.95 I thought I had nothing to lose. It was very tempting and made claims that you could make money automatically from the websites already set up using affiliate marketing. Once I had signed up they were trying to push me to the pro level and claimed that unless you are doing it for a hobby the best option would be the pro level in order to have 10 websites and maximise your profits. So I did this. I had to purchase a domain and hosting (hosting free for 30 days) but the hosting was £9.95 monthly which wasn't advertised when I signed up. They now have my debit card details and I want to stop this regular payment because I have read bad reports on the internet. People are saying that everybody who uses home website builder has the same websites so the market is saturated anyway and you won't make money despite their claims. Also somebody said that they tried to get a refund but to no avail and emails were ignored. I feel like I have been scammed and really need to get this money back. The main problem is that they pull people in with claims of riches and then they ask for money in order to earn your income. Very misleading website.
