The next time everyone I talk to says, “Don’t do business with this guy, ” I’m gong to listen. Everyone told me he was the worst they’ve ever encountered, customer-service wise, and that, once he had your money, he would either ignore your emails, or respond to them rudely or confrontationally. They were right. I paid him $1000 for a Marilyn Monroe mannequin and custom 1950’s wig in the style she made famous. I waited the five weeks he told me it would take to ship. Then, when I politely inquired about when it would be shipped, he copped an attitude. After seven weeks, the mannequin arrived, but without the wig. When I asked why the wig was missing, he went off on me and told me, if you don’t like my service, send the mannequin back. Well, folks, a mannequin costs $100 to ship and I had already invested $240 in enhancements by having the country’s premier makeup artist do the makeup on her face. So, not only could I not return it, I would lose $100 shipping, even if that was possible. So, in return for my $1000, I have a useless item. Whoever heard of displaying a bald-headed Marilyn Monroe? A replacement custom wig and styling will cost about $250. So, stay away from Jim Warren and Vaudeville Mannequins, and you won’t have to learn the hard way, like I did.
