CJ Wayland advertised herself as an independent loan broker who specializes in securing business funding. CJ claimed a California Real Estate license in good standing and pointed to this as indicative that she is legit. She then promised me a loan for my business and even gave a written guarantee - and required an upfront payment of $4,000 from me in February. The loan process was "supposed" to take 30 to 60 days, with CJ then each subsequent month claiming I was still approved but that the bank process was taking longer than expected.
Finally in June I demanded either immediate loan funding or my money refunded. CJ agreed to refund my money and then I never heard from her again. Her phone is disconnected and she has not responded to emails I sent.
