Poor Management and Service!

On Saturday, August 27, my friends (12 including me) and I visited Copias. We arrived around 8:30pm and we placed our orders (drinks and food) between 8:50 – 9:00pm. For starters, our server, Pachelot (not sure of spelling) she was not friendly; she did not smile are state her name initially upon introducing herself. She appeared to be overwhelmed with her section and lack of help. We had been waiting for our food for an hour. We asked the server at 10:00pm about our food and she went to the kitchen. We received our food around 10:15pm. After waiting that long and having a not-so-friendly server, we decided to speak to a manager. The manager on duty was named David Mongar (not sure of last name spelling) came to our table with an attitude as he began to listen and before my friend to completely explain the overall situation, he cut her off rudely and began to blame us for our ordering times. He failed to completely listen or apologize for the unprofessional demeanor of the server or the extended wait for our food. He only made excuses! We then asked to speak to the owner; hoping that we would get a better response.

The owner, ET (the name we were given by the Hostess) he came out and he was just as rude and unprofessional as the server and the manager. He pretty much backed up the server and the manager. He did not want to listen to our side so finally my friend told him that we were done trying to explain since the conversation was not successful. The owner then said “you all still have to pay” assuming that we didn’t want to pay and then told us “please don’t come back”. He never apologized for anything that we experienced. About 50% of our party’s food was cold or not cook as requested.

I will NEVER go there again especially after the owner told us to our face rudely not to come back. This is not acceptable behavior for any business establishment especially in management. None of us had ever experienced this kind of behavior at a place of business. As noticed, almost the same scenario happened to a customer just recently in April of this year so this just validates that this is a horrible place of business to patronize.
