I had an account for well over 10 years ago and the account continues to show up on my credit report. The report shows that the account was opened in 2007 which is false. Each time I try contacting any of the credit reporting agencies they refer me over to Aspire to ask that they remove the negative account from my file and I can never get through to them. They actually have a collection agency based in San Diego, CA (Midland Credit Management) that has been reporting the information and I have reached the end of my rope with this company. What Aspire has done is when the account reaches the point of falling from my credit report they pass it off to a new collection agency. This process should be illegal and I believe from the postings and complaints that I have found online a "Class Action" lawsuit is on order.
