I contacted legacy holding about a modification after seeing an advertisement promising lower payments, fixed interest rates, and even a program that would give me a grant to wipe out the 20% loan on my mortgage. I had to send them $1500. Oo up front then they drafted $730 in two payments for the next 60 days. They said they were working on a modification and called every other week with no updated news. They did gaurantee me that if they did not get an agreed upon modification that i was happy with i would get a refund of $500.00. However five months later i got my forclosure papers and lost my home. I have called everyday since and the only person i can speak with now is the receptionist that answers the phone. The support dept wont return my calls, the accounting dept nor any of the head managers. I have faxed them a request and even sent a letter certified mail and still no response.
