On 8/19 my 13 year old daughter gave her cell phone numer to an old friend from elementary school via Facebook. This friend is apparently also a Facebook "friend" of Jewell B., daughter of Judd Blount of [email protected] notoriety. Beginning early on 8/20, my daughter began getting numerous text messages and phone calls from Craigslist sellers. These people had received emails from [email protected] claiming to be my daughter, giving out her cell phone number and saying that she was interested in purchasing their product.
After a bit of investigation, we tracked it back to [email protected].
I intend to contact the FBI cyber-crime division and file a complaint. I don't know whether this is being done by the daughter or the father (or both) but either way, it's completely unacceptable. Apparently, from reading prior postings, this is the M.O. Used by [email protected] to harass people.
