On 4/28 we purchased our first small wind turbine kit from Missouri Wind and Solar and received it toward the end of May. We had problems from the start with the blade balance, which they would do nothing about.in low winds it wouldn’t keep my batteries charged, and in higher winds it would overcharge the batteries and wouldn’t dump excess current properly. After speaking with them extensively and trying numerous fixes, we burned out 2 PMAs and 2 inverters in the next 2 months, but they replaced them both. But we continued to have problems with under and over charged batteries. We both worked together to try to find fixes for their product shortcomings.

Then MW&S came out with their new battery less 3-phase system with grid tie. It sounded good, so I bought 2 larger sets with 4 more grid tie inverters. Immediately after hooking them up, 4 of the 6 dumps in the inverters burned out. MW&S then scrapped this set up as unworkable and went to a three-phase-to-24-volt system, with 24-volt grid tie inverters. They replaced my burned out units with these. Shortly after hookup it burned out both PMAs. They replaced them and then it burned out the dumps in 2 more inverters. To try another angle at eliminating the problems, they had me send the inverters to their repairman in Michigan, and he sent back 1 repaired inverter with an external hookup to transfer the dump so it wouldn’t burn them out any more; but when I tried it it didn’t work, and burned out another PMA. The other inverter he returned never did work from the start.

Shortly after this, the other PMA burned out under normal conditions for no reason at all.

Every time equipment failed we had to send it back before they would replace it, therefore it took 1 month for each of the replacements listed above. As you can see I’ve gotten very little benefit from this system as it has always been down!

MW&S offered all this equipment with a 1 year warranty and even stated so on their website. We’ve been trying for a long time to get my money back with no response. I even offered to take store trade instead of money back, but still no response.

I have all of my receipts, and numerous emails that show good faith effort on my part, and a willingness to try to work with them to fix the many problems existing in their products, but to no avail. I asked for an RMA (return material authorization) as per their website instructions for returns, with no response. Now they won’t return phone calls or emails. Plus they have accused me of harassing them! This has gone on far too long.

Now I have been told about videos on YouTube where there are many others in the same predicament as myself. I investigated "scamsearcher" and "fearlessthinker" on YouTube to discover that there are indeed MANY others they have lied and cheated with.
