I received a Barnes & Noble $25.00 gift card early last spring. I used it Jan 7 and was told there was only $5.81 cents left on it. I had never used the card. My husband received a gift card when he retired and when he went to use his, there was nothing left on it. Again, he had never used the card. He was at least old that B&N debits the gift card each month it isn't used, for what? A service charge? I will never purchase a Barnes & Noble gift card and will not shop in the store either if this is their business policy.
