This guy has been communicating thru yahoo messenger since June 21. He sounds so nice introducing himself as a divorcee with a daughter and a sister for his only family. He was cheated by his wife and caught them in bed with his good friend and made his life miserable and almost into depression but was able to moved on because he cling to the Lord. His parents died in a car accident to attend to his court divorce proceedings and his mother died in his arm when she died in that tragic accident. He would be professing his love, cares thru nice endearing words addressing me some too good to be true, honey, dear, love, etc. Which sounds so corny at first. Later, he said he has a problem because his daughter needs to have an operation and he needs to go to the UK to be with her and needs money for his airfare going there because his sister who is taking care of his daughter is pregnant and unemployed. He asked for help of $1,500 something so he could go to UK because he is has spent all his money for the contract because he is an oil rig engineer, petrochemical engineer from Maine working on a contract in Lagos, Nigeria and have to be paid when the project is done in August. He instructed me to go to Western Union and gave his address to send to as: 114 Lakeview Drive, Tim Forbes, Ikeja 23401 Lagos, Nigeria. I did follow him and sent him $800 and he told me to give him the MCTN (?) and pleading to do it right away. He even had to send me the locations of Western Union where I could go to, I've never done this ever before but wanted to help him after his too good to be true pleadings. He said he will pay me back end of the month and thanking me for having helped him. Later, he said he is in the UK and could not come back to his work because the money I sent him was not even enough to cover his airfare and again asking for some $1,500 again and that's when I realized that this doesn't sound true anymore and I told him on our chat NO, I can't for I have much expenses too for I am going on a trip soon. I stopped chatting with him since then but everyday he is on the chat room but I ignored him. I tried to go on line and check on the Scams in Nigeria and figured out that what is being described as what scammers do, are very clear this scammer had showned me on our regular chats. I am now avoiding him but seem to me he is always there probably waiting for me to contact him, could you please help me get rid of him and how would I do that to remove him on the Yahoo Messenger. Will I be able to recover from him what I had sent him, or maybe not huh? This is the dumbest thing I have done into myself for accepting his friendship and believing he is truthful. Too bad that I should had done my research on line first before giving my full trust to him believing it is for real. Please help and advice me. Thank you very much.
