I get a call out of the blue from a poorly speaking individual who can not even pronounce my last name who tells me my Time share Property has sold and the funds are sitting in the bank waiting for me to pay a Hawaii State Tax of $1400. First, all of the advertisers that I have the property listed with have NOT advised me of a sale, there has been no notification of a sale to me by an authorized agent, and I am told by one of the agents I spoke to that the buyer pays the taxes in a sale like this. As three phone calls were made to me with an urgent Tues. 7/19 closing date, it seems all the more clear that these people are up to no good having no other interest but to collect $1400 from me. They were unable to tell me the seller name or any specifics. Scam artists 101!
