Ripoff false advertising, fast depreciating, lemon cars

Others have complained, and I don't know when or if Mitsubishi is going to do anything about it. I am talking about their infamous 0 down, 0 payment, 0 interest for 1 year program.

I purchased a 2002 Montero Sport Limited at a dealer in Inidanapolis on October 16

I was told to ignore the payment because we could refinance the vehicle in one year at a substantially lower rate. (8.4% was the very best they could do, even though I have oustanding credit) We walked out with a payment of 713.00 at 8.4% for 60 months.

One week after owning the car, it began to shake so bad. It was in the shop for over 20 days. They replaced everything in the drive train, and 4 wheel drive. I got it back and had it for another week and it was in the shop again for over 20 days.

It has been in the shop over and over. I got rid of a perfectly good Pathfinder because it was over 100,000 miles and I didn't want to have it in repair every month.

Here this brand new car, drove off lot with 18 miles, have been in the shop 40 plus days in my first month and 1/2.

Mitsubishi will not do anything. They say I can't drive and it is customary to rotate and balance the tires every 1,000 miles. The book that came with the car says to balance and rotate every 5,000 miles.

The car vibrates so bad, that water spills if a cup is over 1/2 full. If I am on a long road trip, I will get sick to my stomach from the vibrations.

Several service managers at Mitsubishi Dealers have told me that something is wrong with the car, but they don't want to report it because Mitsubishi is impossible to deal with and they could lose their jobs for reporting a lemon.

So here I am stuck with a lemon. They cannot fix because they have tried everything and nothing works, a car that cannot be refinanced.

What Mitsubishi failed to tell customers is that their vehicles depreciate so fast that its impossible to refinance them.

I paid approx. $35,000 for my Montero Sport Limited, and when I tried to refinance, no one would refinance because it was down to $18,000. (In 14 months!)

I bought all the extended warrenties on a car that cannot be fixed. I'm sure when the warrenty runs out they will know how to fix the problem.

I have called 888-MITSU2004 several times. They do not care. It is my problem. They may have "mislead" me in the financing, but I signd on the line, I have been told.

They do not wish to fix my car. So here I sit with a $713 payment for a car Mitsubishi Service Managers tell me is a lemon and company who doesn't care.

I have warned many people and saved many from buying a Mitsubshi. Heed the advice. I wish I had looked here before I bought.

Never again will I step foot into a Mitsubishi dealer, rent one, or even park next to one. I would feel bad for that person because their probably wondering, like me, how they are going to make their next payment.
