Consumer Report

I responded to an ad a few days ago on craigslist.org from Jennifer Carson. She was advertising a Sony Vaio, 16.4" widescreen laptop for $300. She responded that:
"sombody already bought it, you shuld check out this site to get one super cheap http://millitracker. Go2cloud.org/SHF, since this site is fairly new, no one is bidding, it's like christmas all over again. The trick is to bid when the timer only has 5 seconds, etc. Sent from my Blackberry@Boost Mobile.

I went to the site, called GrabSwag. It showed many bargains purchased at auction. "to get started fill out the form below and we will give you 10 free bids." the form asked for name, username, password, credit card number and last 3 digits on the back. The hit "get started". Right away an invoice popped up that said I owed $99.

I tried calling them, it was after "office hours", called my credit card company to put a stop on it (they had already charged me). My credit card company told me to watch it even though they removed the charge as they may put it back on again. They said if that happens they will have to change my credit card number. I also emailed the company and the "Jennifer carson" who originally posted on craigslist.

Beware!
