I answered a job posting on Craigslist for Administrative assistant on 6/10 and was contacted back by Teisha Thompson CEO of Argent Ventures. I was told that the job was for a Secret Shopper and that Westen Union would be the focus of the assignment. That I would receive a check for $2850.00 Take it to the back take out $400.00 and take the remainder to the Western Union. I received an e-mail from brandon. [email protected] advising me that he was the hiring manager and to make my report to him once the money had been wired. I took the check to the back and my bank cashed the check. I have made several transactions for them and even received a second check from them that was not signed. I still have this check. I found out yesterday when trying to make a purchase with me debit card that my account is over drawn because the 2850.00 ck was returned. My account is wiped out and my checking account is overdrawn. I tried to contact Brandon and he tells me that he was in fromed on the fraudulent activity on the account but never informed me. I have the bank name and routing number I have filed a report a report with the police but no one thinks there is a chance to recover the money. This was all the money I have to live on.
